Here’s the starting scenario: A troubled student in the 11th grade acted disrespectful during class. The principal suspended him for a day due to the severity of the incident. By the next school morning parents and students began reacting to the news by posting negative messages on social media claiming too many students, like him, show disrespect to teachers. Some messages went so far as to blame the principal and teachers for students acting disrespectful. Sound familiar?

The principal takes action! To re-establish the school’s leadership and gain back message control, and to also reset the school’s community on what is expected for student behaviors, the principal, Principal Jenkins, quickly logs in to her Student Caring Contacts account and clicks one link to deploy our “Respect for teachers” counter-messaging program.

This is how the role-playing starts. Our counter-messaging would get sent to all the school’s opted-in students. You will first roleplay as Anna. She is a 9th grade opted-in student. After that, you’ll get messages as if you were Anna’s parent/guardian.
